I had several reasons for the Clue themed photobooth. First, it's one of our favorite movies. It's wickedly funny and if you haven't seen it, you're seriously missing out (for real, get on that!). Second, it allowed us to indulge just a little bit of our dark side. I like to think that Joe and I tend towards a darker sense of humor and we thought our guests would enjoy the impish treat of posing with weapons and simulating murder. Third, since the movie was set in the early 50's, the mid-century style worked for the vintage appearance I tried to achieve for our wedding. Finally, it's one of the few things I hadn't seen done before. I spent a lot of time on wedding blogs and Pinterest leading up to the wedding, and though there were a lot of people with mustaches, mason jars and bunting, I didn't see any weapons.
The booth and theme were a huge hit, and we love looking through the photostrips. Here are some of my favorite murderous shots.
Special thanks to my dear friends Oline Eaton, Erin and Chris Miller (and family!)
